A common improvement to the HZJ70 Series Toyota Landcruiser, is the fitment of an aftermarket turbo to improve the power and torque of the 1HZ diesel motor. When fitted correctly, the addition of an aftermarket turbo can improve power and torque by up to 30%, whilst not compromising the longevity of the engine. Of course, when fitting a turbo it is a perfect time to upgrade your exhaust system to ensure the best possible performance increase.

There are a number of manufacturers of turbo kits for the Landcruiser on the market today, including DTS, and Gturbo. Manta has a kit for them all! Our exhaust runs in glorious mandrel bent full 3”, right from the turbo face to the tail. We’ve found 3” offers the best possible power, with the lowest turbo lag. Additionally, a 3” exhaust system will reduce peak exhaust gas temperatures by up to 50 degrees, which is important for the longevity of your turbo system and engine.
