No one can argue about the fact that this car is one of the most fun track-day cars on the planet, built in the Hethel factory in Norfolk/Great Britain. The fantastic combination of a light-weight fibreglass body, aluminium chassis, 1,8L 4-cylinder engine and a top speed touching 240 km/h makes all motorsport enthusiasts smiling up to the ears. The aim for the engineers at Öhlins R&D department was to create a shock absorber that did not only  target at better comfort but also at increasing the performance and handling, cutting precious time on the track. The end result is a 36mm aluminium cylinder shock with compression and rebound adjusters along with a clever height adjuster. The kit also fits perferctly with the Lotus Elise S2.

Öhlins STX-series comes in three varieties. The internal reservoir, piggy back style reservoir, and the remote reservoir. Our STX-technology gives a smoother, more controlled and enjoyable ride. The series are a high pressure monotube type which provides a higher performance capability and can be upgraded onto vehicles with a twin-tube design. The technology works with an integrated temperature compensation, adjusting the systems performance to compensate for changes caused by temperature. This makes your ride more accurate and reliable. The STX-shock absorbers are adaptable to fit most vehicles, drivers and different ranges of use.

The Öhlins STX Shock absorbers are racer-friendly, easy to set up, dial in and rebuild. Support is always available from the Öhlins distributors worldwide.
